I just re-read this for book club. Heartbreaking.

I don’t remember if I saw the movie. I don’t think I did. Yet I picture the characters perfectly as Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson. Not only because they are on the cover. The parts just seem made for them.

Heartbreaking. Really, first-rate.
