Something to reduce work stress. I might paste it on top of my monitor. Because

• It doesn’t have to be me that does it
• It doesn’t have to be me all by myself that does it
• Maybe I can’t even do it

Because sometimes I get to feeling like I have to do everything, at all times.

And with the coming of Not-Winter, a great weight lifts off of me that I hardly realized was there. Suddenly I love my life without effort.

This is my 27th spring in Vermont, and it has never stopped being a miracle.
