Made of yarn leftovers. Most of these colors I’d dyed myself, I think all except the orange and possibly the purple. They make a nice autumnal theme together. Now ready to pack these socks away till autumn.

Going to do something on the warm side next.

It’s magic when:

• goat poop turns into soil
• smelly dirty goat hair turns into pretty yarn
• flour, water, and a few other things turn into bread

Today I witnessed all of those things!

I like this mix a lot except for the dark green. I’ve mostly covered it up here. But it doesn’t play nicely with the yellow. Oh well.

I feel like this might turn out to be one of those ‘acquired taste’ items.

This one’s going to be orange-based with the other guys as accents.

Today I have this surreal feeling of looking out at the wide white world and wondering what I’m doing here.

…it’s always something.

Started to get a headache. Hope it’s not Paxlovid relapse.

Finger hurts as much as ever, I just try not to use it. Boy, if this is arthritis and permanent, it truly sucks.

Wasn’t sure about the pink in this. Still not sure. Not sure I like the way the pattern looks a lot better on one side than the other, also. I bet once it’s an actual scarf that I’m throwing around, fine details like this will be overlooked.
